The COVID-19 pandemic has created new obstacles for business, employees, elected officials, job seekers, and everyone in our community. As we plan our economic response we have engaged Robert Eyler, Ph.D. of Economics, to help us understand what this extraordinary event means for our local economy and our recovery.

In this 30-minute webinar Dr. Eyler will provide clarity and trusted information about the economic complexities, social, fiscal and monetary policies, projections of possibly what could be happening as we come out of the crisis and what that means to the City.

Robert Eyler, Ph.D. is a much sought-after keynote speaker who brings economics “down to earth.” He connects the impact of global events to our neighborhoods. Most recently Dr. Eyler has talked on the economic impact of and recovery from devastating business interruptions, such as COVID-19 and the destructive wildfires in northern California. Dr. Eyler was also the lead consultant for Moving Solano Forward. He prepares the Solano County Index and is an annual speaker with the Solano Economic Development Corporation.
