Recreation

Benicia offers an abundance of opportunities to enjoy the water, whether in it or having fun beside it. We also offer extensive trail and pathways for hiking, biking and enjoying our gorgeous waterfront sunsets.

The trail follows the Carquinez strait waterfront through Benicia and Vallejo. You'll find mostly level trails featuring sidewalks, paved and unpaved trails and paths. This is part of a project to build 500 miles of trail through 47 cities. It's a true adventure.
